Andrew Johnson is returning for the 2025 season as the Head Coach of the Riverwood Rays. This is his 8th season as Head Coach.
Coach Andrew grew up swimming at the Riverwood Athletic Club for the Marlins of Raleigh Swim Team and earned a scholarship to swim at East Carolina University. Coach Andrew specialized in breaststroke.
Andrew has built a strong staff with the Riverwood Rays Swim Team. All of his 2025 Assistant Coaches (Jonathan Raynor, Sonia Hunt, Teagan Farrell, Ryan Pittman), have coached previous seasons for the Rays under Coach Andrew’s leadership.
