Aerobics Class Descriptions:
- Bootcamp – A total body workout that is a lot more fun than it sounds! You will challenge your body through drills, games, plyometric exercises, and muscle building moves. Come prepared to burn lots of calories and all levels of exercisers are welcome.
- Cardio Sculpt – An interval training class that gets the heart rate up and tones the body by combining a variety of cardio moves as well as total body sculpting.
- Chip Fit – A chance to work on strengthening, core, cardio and improve overall fitness. You will be doing compound movements such as squat to press and plenty of multidirectional lunges to help you move better in your day-to-day life. Compound movements simulate more real-life situations and challenges.
- Cycle – Spinning burns serious calories and offers an awesome aerobic workout that makes your heart pump fast. It also tones your quadriceps (front thigh muscles) and outer thigh muscles. Because you stay in one place with the same basic movement throughout, Spinning doesn’t involve a lot of coordination; it’s easier to concentrate on your form than in other types of aerobic classes. And although you follow the general instructions of the spinning teacher, you are in control when it comes to your pace. You can finish a spin class, regardless of your fitness level, simply by adjusting your pace or the tension knob on the bike.
- Lift 45 – This class is for anyone from beginners – advanced! You’ll utilize various weight training equipment during this total body workout for 45 minutes.
-
Lower Body Blast – This workout focuses on strength training the total lower body; glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps. Body weight as well as dumbbells are used to build, strength, flexibility and balance.
- Mat Pilates – Pilates on mats. Pilates gives great attention to the flow of movement and core muscles to help lengthen and tone the entire body.
- SYNERGY – A high-energy (HIIT) dance fitness community for all levels. The routines are set to hip-hop, pop, and international rhythms. The easy-to-follow format has the perfect mix of dance and fitness movements and will give you a great workout and build confidence.
- TABATA – Tabata is a high intensity interval fat burning work out. 20 sec of a exercise followed by 10 sec transitions to new exercise for 8 rounds then 1 minute recovery. Total body workout!!
- Yoga Flow – Exercises and poses (asana) to cultivate strength, stamina, stability and flexibility with attention paid to building tone in the deeper postural “core” muscles.
- ZUMBA – Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got Zumba!
- Whine Down– A dance class focused on letting loose and winding down from the day. Stretching, moving and using your hips. Our hips store tension, trauma and stress. We focus on releasing our body of tightness and getting a flowing movement to allow us to relax and settle in after a day.
- Stretch and Flow-This class is a combination of mobility movement, Yoga inspired flows, Pilates stretch and core restoration. We focus on stretching, balance, engagement and form to allow longevity, restoration and recovery.
- Turn up and Tune up– Pilates power sculpting class. Arhythmic, fun tempo sculpting class incorporating cardio and Pilates inspired moves
